Lady Superstar Nayanthara joins Thalaivar Rajinikanth on the sets of Darbar in Mumbai

Superstar Rajinikanth has kick-started shooting for his next big upcoming film, Darbar also starring Nayanthara. The first schedule of the film commenced in Mumbai a few days ago. Lyca Productions' took to twitter to announce the news with fans. Also, director AR Murugadoss tweeted and expressed his happiness over collaborating with Nayanthara again. He wrote, "Glad to collaborate with #Nayanthara again." Nayanthara is collaborating with director AR Murugadoss for the second time after their film, Chandramukhi. 

Meanwhile, the makers of the film recently put the shooting of the first schedule on hold due to elections. The shooting of the film has started again now in a full swing. Darbar is directed by AR Murugadoss; this film will mark the fourth collaboration of Rajinikanth and Nayanthara after their last three popular films Sivaji, Chandramukhi and Kuselan together. Santosh Sivan has been roped in as the cinematographer, while Anirudh Ravichander will compose the music for it. Darbar also stars Yogi Babu and Prateik Babbar who will play the antagonist in the film.

Recently, Rajinikanth was spotted on the sets of Darbar in Mumbai. The superstar greeted his fans who arrived only to catch a small glimpse of their favourite actor. 

Darbar will hit the theatres on Pongal next year.
