Kolambi: Vijay Yesudas jets off on a journey to hunt legendary singer KJ Yesudas's mike in his cameo

The film Kolambi starring Nithya Menen, Renji Panicker and Rohini will see playback singer Vijay Yesudas in a cameo. In this film the singer is on a hunt for his father and legendary singer KJ Yesudas's mike. This film is directed by TK Rajeevkumar. Kolambi has a backdrop of music in it. The director TK Rajeevkumar says about the film that Renji Panicker's character runs a sound system business named Jawahar Sounds. But, later on in the story line the Kolambi which is the horn loudspeaker gets banned.
The character could not manage with the new system that was put in place post the Kolambi ban and then stores all of the sounds systems including the loudspeakers at his home. Vijay Yesudas who is playing himself comes to meet this character and begins the hunt for his father's mike during one of his live performances. Interestingly, Vijay Yesudas gets to know of this character played by actor Renji Panicker through social media.
As per reports, Vijay Yesudas says that he starts the hunt for this mike used by his father and legendary singer KJ Yesudas for a live performance. He further adds that he felt very nostalgic when he was doing this cameo in the film. It has many real-life references. Vijay Yesudas also said that the film has some more surprises to offer the audience members. Now, the fans are eagerly looking forward to see what these surprises are and also to watch the film. Recently, an animation-based teaser of this film was released. This has generated a lot of curiosity among the fans who are looking forward to watch this film.
