Kanchana 3 has been in the news for some or other reasons and this time it has hit the headlines over a sexual harassment complaint by actress Ri Djavi Alexander. She played the role of Raghava Lawrence's girlfriend Rosie in Kanchana 3. According to reports, the Russian actress has filed a complaint against a photographer named Roopesh Kumar who made her pose for a photo shoot and later asked her to sleep with him.
According to a report in India Today, the photographer blackmailed Ri Djavi Alexandra of releasing her morph images on the Internet if she didn't fulfil his demands. Chennai Police immediately investigated the matter and found her claims to be true. The photographer has been arrested and has been locked up in Puzhal jail. Well, many such instances of sexual harassment came into light last year after #MeToo movement took social media by storm. Actress Amala Paul had also faced such horrifying experience; however, after she filed a complaint, the accused was arrested.
Ri Djavi Alexandra is a Russian-born actress, who currently is living in Chennai to pursue her career in acting.
