Vedhika on her return to Muni franchise with Kanchana 3: I shot for 70 days but I never realized how time flew
South star Vedhika is all set to return to Muni franchise with her Kanchana 3. The film will be hitting the screens today, i.e. April 19 and Vedhika is excited about it. Read to know what she said.
When an actor works in a particular movie franchise, his or her fans start identifying that film with that star. Thus, when the star makes her return to the same franchise, this ends up becoming a treat for her fans. Speaking of this, South superstar actress, Vedhika is all set to make her return to the Muni Franchise with Kanchana 3. The film will see Vedhika playing the role of the main protagonist and her fans are eagerly waiting to see her create magic on-screen all over again.
Not only fans but also Vedhika herself is very excited for the film and spoke to IANS in depth about her experience of working on the film and with director Raghav Lawrence. Vedhika got nostalgic to the time when she played Muni. She expressed that she was very young and hence, learnt a lot while working with the film-maker. Vedhika said, “Back then, Lawrence master was very popular for his dance-based films. I thought I was being called for another dance film, but when I heard the story, I thought this was something new.”
Vedhika also opened up about working on Kanchana 3. She mentioned that the film is very close to her heart as she has invested a lot of time in it and devoted the maximum call sheets to Kanchana 3. Vedhika stated that shooting for Kanchana 3 was like a vacation which didn’t even make her realise how the time passed. She said, “We were having so much fun shooting that it felt like I was on a big holiday. Kanchana 3 couldn't have come at a better time and it was a fun film to do. With Kanchana 3, I got an opportunity to do something really commercial and I didn't want to miss it.”
Well, it surely seemed that Vedhika is as excited to make her return in Kanchana 3 to Tamil cinema as her fans are. Vedhika was last seen in Kaaviya Thalaivan back in 2014 where she was seen with Siddharth and Prithviraj Sukumaran. With Kanchana 3, Vedhika returns to the action horror comedy genre and will be seen in a lead role. Apart from her, Raghava Lawrence and Oviya will be playing important roles in the film. Kanchana 3 releases on April 19, 2019.
