Kamal Haasan to undergo leg surgery; To go on a break for a few weeks

Kamal Haasan, who recently completed 60 years in Indian Cinema, had met with an unfortunate accident in 2016. After the accident, Haasan went through two major leg surgeries. Now years later, the Indian 2 actor will undergo surgery again to remove the implant. The Tamil star will be admitted to the hospital on November 22nd and will go on a few weeks break to physically recoup. A statement from his political party, Makkal Needhi Maiam revealed that Kamal Haasan will be admitted to the hospital on November 22nd.
The statement read, "Due to his very busy schedule in political and film commitments, there had been a postponement in the removal of the implant." In 2016, during an interview with Deccan Chronicle, Kamal Haasan had said, "It could have been much worse. After the fall, I was bleeding profusely. I could have bled to death. Luckily for me there was someone else in the office with me at the time that it happened."
On the work front, Kamal Haasan is busy with the shooting of Shankar's Indian 2. It is one of the much-awaited films that the audience is looking forward to. In the film, Kajal Aggarwal will be seen in the flashback portions with Kamal Haasan while Siddharth plays the younger guy in the present. Indian 2 also Rakul Preet Singh and Priya Bhavani Shankar in crucial roles. Being produced on a lavish budget by Lyca Productions, Indian 2 has music by Anirudh Ravichander.
