Jayasurya to play ‘Metro Man’ in his upcoming film titled Ramasethu

The actor is all set to play the role of ‘Metro Man’ E Sreedharan in the biopic called Ramasethu. This film is directed by VK Prakash.

Jayasurya has played the role of footballer VP Sathyan in Captain. The actor has also signed a biopic where he will be essaying the role of legendary actor Sathyan. Now, the actor is all set to play the role of ‘Metro Man’ E Sreedharan in the biopic called Ramasethu: A Bridge Between God and Society. This film is directed by VK Prakash and the script is written by S Suresh Babu. Previously, S Suresh Babu, who scripted films like Shikkar and Kanal was planning on making a film called Arabikkadalinte Rani based on the Metro Man’s life. But, now the official biopic on E Sreedharan will be called Ramasethu.

This film pays tribute to E Sreedharan who created history and made the country proud. The makers of this film were trying to get the rights to make this film. S Suresh Babu says about the film that many big production houses were looking to make this film. The team of Ramasethu feel proud that E Sreedharan liked the script they presented as it has been 35 years since the Metro Man had watched any film. He further adds that film starts at Pamban Bridge at Rameswaram to the Metro projects across India.

The film will track the professional journey of E Sreedharan. This film will see Jayasurya playing E Sreedharan from 30 till 85 years of age. The film will be shot in locations like Tripunithura, Rameswaram, Cochin Shipyard and Konkan rail route which will be the most important locations to highlight in this film.
