Halitha Shameem’s Aelay: Makers to reveal the most awaited film’s trailer; See post
Directed by Sillu Karupatti filmmaker Halitha Shameem, Aelay has Samuthirakani and Manigandan as the lead actors.
In what has come as an exciting piece of news to the fans of Kollywood, it has been revealed by critically acclaimed director Halitha Shameem that the trailer of her upcoming most awaiting film titled Aelay will be revealed today at 5 pm. It has also been revealed that the film will hit the big screens on February 12th. Sharing the news, the filmmaker also shared a poster of the film and it came as an unexpected treat to the fans.
As soon as the news about the film was revealed, fans went gaga on social media, sharing the post and congratulating the director for the film’s release. The film’s release was actually planned to happen on August 27, 2020. However, it did not happen owing to the pandemic situation. Sharing the news about the release date, Halitha wrote on her Twitter space, “How many days have I waited to add this to you, to tell you the good news!”

Touted to be a neo-realistic comedy-drama, the film is set in a rural background. It will narrate the story of a father-son duo. While Samuthirakani plays the father, Manikandan K of Kaala fame plays the son. The rest of the cast will be non-actors from the village of Manjunayakanpatti in Dindugal district, where the film was shot on a single schedule. Pushkar-Gayathri of Vikram Veda fame are the creative directors of the highly anticipated film.
