Director Rajumurugan apologizes for his comments on Rajinikanth & Vijay after fans hit back; Details inside
The director got into a controversy when he made remarks about Superstar Rajinikanth and Thalapthy Vijay during the speech he made at the audio launch of Munthiri Kaadu. These remarks did not go down well with the fans of Rajinikanth and Thalapthy Vijay.
The director Rajumurugan’s film Gypsy which has actors Jiiva and Natasha Singh in the lead roles will soon hit the screens. The film's trailer and songs were also released some time back. The fans have given a positive response to the trailer and the songs of the film, Gypsy. The director got into a controversy when he made remarks about Superstar Rajinikanth and Thalapthy Vijay during the speech he made at the audio launch of Munthiri Kaadu. These remarks did not go down well with the fans of Rajinikanth and Thalapthy Vijay. The director faced a lot of flak of saying that actors have titles like superstar and thalapathy then why not the same of the hero in the films. The fans took to social media to hit back at the Gypsy director, who later apologized for his comments.
The director Rajumurugan said in his apology that he was very sorry for the remarks he made and that it was a slip of tongue. He further added that he was not trying to intentionally hurt anybody's sentiments, he felt sorry for the words he spoke during the speech of the audio launch of Munthiri Kaadu. The direct also states that both the stars Rajinikanth and Thalapthy Vijay have achieved huge success in the industry and he deeply respects both of them for the contribution they have made towards cinema.
Some time ago, a hashtag about Thalapthy Vijay was trending on Twitter. The hashtag was #RIPActorVijay. The Indian Cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin wrote how people like to spread negative messages and thoughts on social media.
