The trailer has already generated a good buzz. The songs have also added to the hype. But there is one scene that has left tongues wagging. The trailer featured an intense liplock sequence starring the lead actors. Now, a new report suggests that it was this lop-lock scene resulted in Sai Pallavi kissing the offer goodbye in the first place.

It is no secret that Sai Pallavi is one of the most sought-after actresses in the South. She charmed her way into everyone's hearts with her Malar Miss act in Premam and there has been no stopping since. She has been offered several movies in the South. One was reportedly Dear Comrade. The reason being the liplock scene which was teased in the trailer.

As per an IBTimes report, several reports in the Telugu industry suggest that the kissing scene was one of the reasons Sai chose to not do Dear Comrade. According to the report, Sai Pallavi "is uncomfortable doing intimate scene and was reluctant to be part of the sequence." The script then landed in Rashmika's lap. Given that the actress had no issues with the intimate scene, she accepted the offer and that's how the casting fell in place.

Ever since the scene was teased in the Dear Comrade trailer, fans haven't stopped discussing it. Talking about the lip-lock scene, Vijay expressed his irritation over the term. When the actor was in Bengaluru to promote the movie, he said, "I don't like the word - lip-lock. You guys write about objectification....its kissing.. it's an emotion like anger... when we cry it is an emotion, when we kiss it is an emotion and it's not lip-locking... whenever I read lip-lock.. I'm like what the f**k...I really dislike it. [sic]"
