Bigil: Vivek faces wrath for his speech from actor Sivaji Ganesan's fans
Comedian Vivek at the audio launch event of Bigil said that the "Nenjil Kudiyirukkum" song in the Sivaji-Vyjyanthimala starrer Irumbu Thirai was not so popular then but turned hit only due to Vijay's Bigil.
Tamil star Vijay's upcoming film Bigil has landed into controversy for quite a few reasons. The makers of the film recently hosted a grand audio launch event in Chennai, however, it has grabbed attention over controversial speeches by Vijay and Vivek. Comedian Vivek at the audio launch event said that the "Nenjil Kudiyirukkum" song in the Sivaji-Vyjyanthimala starrer Irumbu Thirai was not so popular then but turned hit only due to Vijay's Bigil.
He said, "Now after Vijay started using the same line as the opening note in his speeches, the phrase 'Nenjukil Kudirukkum is popular and send fans to frenzy". Vivek has left Sivaji Ganesan's fans furious who have demanded an apology from him. Fans of Sivaji Ganesan took to Twitter and slammed Vivek for his controversial speech and also questioned about why they are using the same line from the song if it was not popular then. Sivaji fans have also mentioned about the spoof that Vivek had created for the famous scene from Sivaji Ganesan's Parasakthi.
