Bigil: 'Verithanam' song from the Vijay starrer gets its release date

South superstar Vijay's upcoming film Bigil has been one of the most-awaited film of this year, however, the film has had to face a couple of issues, given how the movie's song Singapenney was leaked online which ultimately lead to a lot of chaos. Later, Verithanam was also leaked online, however, reports suggested that it is a fake version and not the original. However, fans can now rejoice as the official release date for the song has now been announced.

Sung by superstar Vijay himself, the song will be releasing on September 1 at 6 pm. Archana Kalpathi' wrote on social media, "Finally Our #Thalapathy singing for us in A.R. Rahman sir’s album. My personal favourite from the album. Youtube and Twitter, please get ready. We are going to break all records tomorrow." The post was also accompanied by a 45-second teaser of the song and we bet fans can't wait anymore. Check it out:

The first look, second look, and the title of Bigil were all released on Vijay's birthday eve and the third look released on his birthday itself. Bigil is produced by Kalpathi S. Aghoram under the banner of AGS Entertainment, BIGIL also stars Nayanthara in the lead role along with Vijay. The music for the film has been composed by A.R. Rahman.
