Bigil: Thalapathy Vijay starrer to become the second best Tamil premiere film in USA after Petta?

Thalapathy Vijay and Atlee's much-anticipated film, Bigil is all set to release tomorrow, October 25th. The film has been the talk of the town since its inception and finally, the film hits the screens tomorrow. Bigil has taken social media by storm and there is huge buzz among the moviegoers to know what's in the store. Bigil is already setting records at the box office even before its release. According to trade analyst, Ramesh Bala, Vijay's Bigil is set to become the second-best Tamil premiere in the USA after Petta in 2019. The advance booking in Indian for the Telugu version is extraordinary. 

Produced by AGS Entertainment on a whopping budget of Rs 180 crore, the Tamil film Bigil has been dubbed in Telugu as Whistle. The much-talked-about the film will see Vijay in a double role as a father and son. He plays the coach of a women's football team as the son. The trailer and songs of this Vijay starrer have received a thunderous response and it has set high expectations among the audience. Bigil also stars Jackie Shroff, Nayanthara, Kathir, Yogi Babu and Vivek in crucial roles.

The makers spent around Rs. 6 crores just to erect a football stadium for a pivotal sequence. The music of Bigil has been given by AR Rahman, who said in a recent interaction that he hasn't worked on a film of this genre in South India.
