Bigil and Kaithi's special shows cancelled by Tamil Nadu government ahead of their Diwali release?
As per the latest reports on Bigil and Kaithi, the Tamil Nadu government is said to have cancelled the special early morning shows for these two films.
The two most anticipated films that are hitting the big screen on Diwali much to the fans delight are Thalapathy Vijay's Bigil and Karthi's film titled Kaithi. The two south films will be seen battling it out at the box office when they hit the silver screen on the eve of Diwali. As per the latest reports on the two films Bigil and Kaithi, the Tamil Nadu government has said to have cancelled the special early morning shows for these two films. There was a strong buzz that the ticket prices for both the films have been increased tremendously.
The Tamil Nadu government has strongly opposed this move by the distributors of the films. The Minister for Information and Publicity, Kadambur Raju has stated that the special shows of the two Diwali releases, Bigil and Kaithi will not have the early morning shows in a tweet. The Minister for Information and Publicity, Kadambur Raju further stated that until the distributors give an official word that they will not make the theatre owners increase the cost of the tickets for the early morning special shows as compared to the other show timings the decision made by the Tamil Nadu government will stay as it is.
The fans and film audience are not left guessing whether the distributors of the films will comply by the Tamil Nadu government's new rule with respect to the Thalapathy Vijay starrer Bigil and south actor Karthi's film called Kaithi. As per the latest reports, if the Tamil Nadu government stays firm on its decision then it might affect the box office collections of the two much awaited films.
