Popular model and TV actor Kaushal Manda who was the winner of the reality show Bigg Boss Telugu 2, has recently made headlines for an entirely different reason. Earlier yesterday i.e. on November 29, 2019, he officially joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Kaushal and his wife Neelima reportedly met some party leaders in New Delhi before joining the same. Kaushal, who became popular post his stint in Bigg Boss Telugu, also posted a few pictures on his Instagram handle.

The Aadhi Shankar actor and his wife are seen posing for the picture along with some other political leaders. He also mentions in one of the captions of his Instagram post that he is not someone who only reacts to ongoing issues in the country but will also convert ideas into reality in order to tackle them. Kaushal further states that PM Narendra Modi’s vision encouraged him to join the party. This comes as a shock to many of the actor’s fans.

If media reports are to be believed, some of Kaushak Manda’s fans and admirers are unhappy with his decision of joining politics. He has been reportedly criticized for changing sides with one political party after supporting another party prior to the 2019 Andhra Pradesh elections. On the professional front, Kaushal recently made a comeback to the show Aadhi Shankar where he portrays the role of a villain. For the unversed, he is also the winner of the second season of Bigg Boss Telugu hosted by Eega actor Nani.
