Dadasaheb Phalke Awards South 2019: Yash, Kaushal Manda, Mahesh Babu's wife Namrata Shirodkar attend the do

The Dadasaheb Phalke South 2019 was held in Hyderabad on September 20. Many celebs such as Yash, Lakshmi Manchu, Nabha Natesh of iSmart Shankar fame, Allu Arjun's brother Bobby and his family, Hamsa Nandini, Payal Rajput, Surbhi Puranik, director Sukumar, Anoop Singh and Avika among others attended the event. Speaking of the awards night, many stars from Telugu industry, Mahesh Babu and Anushka Shetty took home the top honours. For the unversed, Mahesh Babu received Best actor award for his role in Bharat Ane Nenu and wife Namrata Shriodkar was present tor receive the award. On the other hand, Anushka Shetty bagged the best award for her movie Bhaagamathie. Speaking of the lifetime achievement award, the same was bestowed upon Mohan Babu. 

Sukumar and Devi Sri Prasad received an award for their movie Rangasthalam. The best debut award in the female category was went to Payal Rajput for her movie RX100.  Keerthy Suresh and Yash won an outstanding performers award. The former received for Mahanati while Yash received for KGF. For the unversed, Keerthy Suresh recently won National award while Yash received best leading actor during SIIMA awards (Kanada) this year.

While taking up the award, KGF star was seen saying some of his popular dialogues from the movie and the same received a lot of cheers from the audience.  While Jagapathi Babu won best negative role award for Aravindha Sametha, cinematographer Rathnavelu won an award for Rangasthalam.
