Antony Varghese starrer Jallikattu is expected to hit the theatres in the month of October. As per reports, this film directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery will be releasing in October as the film's distribution rights for its Middle East release have been bought by Phars Films. The shoot of 'Jallikattu' started in November last year. Actor Antony Varghese will be seen playing the lead role in this film. The director of this film, Lijo Jose Pellissery is known to direct classic films and 'Jallikattu' is expected to be an ambitious project of the director.
The film, 'Jallikattu' reportedly revolves around a Maoist incident which is seen from a point of view of the buffaloes. As per reports, 'Jallikattu' is based on a short story called 'Maoist' that was written by S. Hareesh. This film is produced by Thomas Panicker. The screenplay is done by S Hareesh and R Jayakumar. The camera work is handled by Girish Gangadharan who did Lijo Jose Pellissery's Angamaly Diaries. The editing is done by Deepu Joseph. As per reports, actors like Vinayakan and Sabumon Abdusamad will be seen in key roles in 'Jallikattu'.
The director of 'Jallikattu' has some very good films to his credit. He has helmed films like 'Ee. Ma. Yau', 'Amen', 'Angamaly Diaries', 'City of God', 'Nayakan'. The fans are eagerly looking forward to see what the director has done with this latest film called 'Jallikattu'. The music direction for this film is done by Prasanth Pillai. Tinu Pappachan is the chief associate director for 'Jallikattu'. He made his debut as a director with the film called Swathandriyam Ardharathriyil.
