Director Vijay Chandar shared a picture of himself along with Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan on Twitter. The Sanga Tamizhan director wrote that unexpected dreams come true sometimes on meeting the Dangal star, Aamir Khan. The fans of the director instantly reacted to the picture asking him if Aamir Khan would be seen in his upcoming film, Sanga Tamizhan with Vijay Sethupathi. Vijay Chandar is busy shooting for the film in Karaikudi, and when he got to know that the superstar was in Karaikudi, the director reached out to him.
Vijay Chandar further adds that it was a remarkable moment for him to meet Aamir Khan, even if it was just for a couple of minutes. The director is a big fan of Aamir Khan and his work. Vijay Chandar who last directed the film, Sketch is finishing the last remaining schedules of his film, Sanga Tamizhan. This film will see Vijay Sethupathi essaying a double role for the first time in his film career.
The director in an interaction with The Times of India said that when he gave the narration of this film to Vijay Sethupathi he loved the script and said that it would work for both of them. Vijay Chandar further added that he had narrated just a one-liner to Vijay Sethupathi and he was very impressed about the story idea. Sethupathi was very keen on doing a mass entertainer for a very long time now and this film gave him that chance of doing a mass commercial film.
