Esha Deol and husband Bharat Takhtani welcomed their baby girl today at Hinduja hospital, Mumbai. Now, we have got the pictures of the couple taking the newborn back home from hospital. Bharat is holding his daughter in his arms while Esha is all elated and smiles for the shutterbugs waiting to catch a glimpse of their daughter.
It was April 2017 when Esha's pregnancy rumours made the rounds and Ram Kamal Mukherjee, who wrote the book on Esha's mom and actress Hema Malini titled Beyond the Dream Girl, had confirmed the news and said to a leading tabloid, "Yes, Esha is pregnant and everyone in the family is delighted. After Ahana's son, Darein, Hemaji and Dharamji are eagerly waiting to be grandparents again."
When Pinkvilla asked Hema Malini on her reaction after hearing about her daughter's pregnancy, the veteran actress revealed, "I was waiting for that (Esha’s pregnancy) and sensed it was happening but I didn’t want to ask. Esha told me when the time comes I will tell you. I said fine, I will wait. But we were always praying for the best to happen so we are very excited about it! My daughter is staying with me and I am looking after her as a mother. We keep talking about kya karna hai, kaise karna hai…"
Hema ji has also said to a leading daily, "If it’s a girl, I will teach her Bharatnatyam. If it’s a boy, he will have to learn the Georgian dance!"
Esha and Bharat got married on June 29, 2012.
