Esha Deol and husband Bharat Takhtani welcomed a baby girl, Radhya, on October 20, 2017. Since then their lives surround her. Bharat took to Instagram to share a picture with his daughter Radhya. He captioned the image as, "My little Princess’s first visit to the temple."

Esha's mother and Radhya's grandmother Hema Malini expressed her happiness in an interview with a leading daily. She stated, "It’s such a beautiful feeling to become a grandmom again! I am very excited right now. Even Dharmendra ji is very happy. Esha is doing well, and the newborn baby girl, whom Esha and her husband Bharat Takhtani have decided to name Radhya, is so sweet and lovely-looking, like a little doll!"

The legendary actor further said, "My Mathura people are very happy. Krishna ki nagri hai, toh Radha Rani is important there."

Hema Ji also said, "We didn’t go to the hospital because Bharat’s family went and brought her home. We were at home, making the preparations to welcome the baby. The first thing we did was aarti according to the Hindu tradition. Outside, my staff was celebrating with phuljhadis. But we didn’t burst more crackers, as we did not want to disturb the child with the noise and also because it would have led to so much pollution."

After becoming a proud parent of a beautiful daughter, an elated Bharat had said, “I am very happy. I can’t even express how happy I am today. I think the baby looks like me. When she smiles it seems the world smiles at you. This is a different feeling, which cannot be expressed in words.”

The name Radhya was decided by Esha and Bharat even before the little one came into the world. In an official statement, Esha’s team announced the name of her daughter. “This is to officially confirm that Bollywood actress Esha Deol Takhtani and business magnet Bharat Takhtani decided to announce the name of their newborn baby girl. Radhya is derived from Radha, which means to be worshipped,” read the statement.
