Although the actress has been seen in very few films post her marriage with Abhishek Bachchan, she still manages to catch the attention of the media through her frequent tours and public appearances. Recently, Aishwarya got snapped for an event in which she looked gorgeous in a traditional outfit. She wore a bright red coloured short kurta along with embellished bottoms and a matching dupatta which made her look like a gorgeous diva. She wore a pair of heavy jhumkas too which complemented her entire outfit. The actress left her hair open and put on a small traditional bindi along with a light shaded lipstick which made her look amazing as usual.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was last seen in the film Fanney Khan which was released on August 3, 2018. The film co - starred Rajkummar Rao, Anil Kapoor, Divya Dutta and Pihu Sand in the lead roles. However, the film which was directed by Atul Manjrekar could not perform well at the box office. Aishwarya's previous film, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil was a huge hit among the Indian audiences in the year 2016. The film which was directed by Karan Johar starred Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Fawad Khan in the lead roles. The film was released on the occasion of Diwali in October 28, 2016.
Aishwarya was supposed to be next seen in the upcoming romantic film Gulab Jamun along with her husband Abhishek Bachchan but the two of them later opted out from the film.
