Janhvi Kapoor's latest pictures are a spitting image of Sridevi from Janbaaz; View Pictures

It's been more than a year since we had to bid adieu to one of the greatest actors in Indian cinema history - Sridevi. However, her legacy continues on with her daughter Janhvi Kapoor, who made her Bollywood debut last year with Shashank Khaitan's Dhadak opposite Ishaan Khatter. Things are looking great for the newcomer who garnered a ton of praises for her honest and raw portrayal in Dhadak. She's not even a year into the business and has already signed for three big films.

Recently Janhvi attended Sabyasachi's 20-year anniversary and looked red-hot in a sheath, raw silk dress from the designer. The actress styled the classy look with nude pumps, teardrop earrings and hair worn in casually tousled curls. However, we couldn't help but notice a big detail - Janhvi looked like a spitting image of her mother Sridevi from the song Har Kisi Ko Nahi Milta which features in the movie, Janbaaz (1986). This 1986 film, which also stars Anil Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia and Feroz Khan, is directed by Feroz.

Meanwhile, Janhvi is taking professional pilot training classes in Indore for her upcoming film which is a biopic on Indian Air Force officer Gunjan Saxena. She will also be seen opposite Rajkummar Rao in the horror comedy Rooh-Afza.

Janhvi also stars alongside Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Anil Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar in Karan Johar's ambitious magnum opus, Takht. Takht is slated for a 2020 release.
