PICS: Diva Sridevi goes blingy for MOM promotions

Sridevi's much awaited movie MOM finally released to a decent response last weekend. However, the actress is still caught up with the promotions of the movie.  The thriller directed by Ravi Udyawar and produced by Boney Kapoor, Sunil Manchanda, Mukesh Talreja, Naresh Agarwal and Gautam Jain featured Sridevi, Akshaye Khanna, Abhimanyu Singh, Sajal Ali and Adnan Siddiqui in lead roles with Nawazuddin Siddiqui in a special appearance.

Mom is Sridevi's 300th film and is being released in the 50th year of her film career.

The director recently spoke about Sridevi and how the diva coped with the challenging role. He said, "As it was her 300th film and my first one, there was a lot of responsibility looking at the kind of work that she has done. Yes, there was pressure on me, but working with her is amazing. After all these years, even now when she comes on set, she is like a newcomer -- as if she is starting it again. She is really excited and enthusiastic about scenes and tries to push her limits as an actress. That's something that we can learn from her."

He added, "She herself is a mother, so I am sure people will connect with her when they will see her. Although it's not her own story, she must have added some personal touch to her character. If given a chance I would love to direct her (Sridevi) again. I will like it if she acts in a comedy film directed by me. That would be great. She has done amazing work earlier in comedy. She is still the same. She is fantastic while doing that."

Sridevi looks glamorous in a blingy outfit. She chose a raspberry velvet blazer and faux wrap detail wide legged pants from Cactus, which she layered with a lace trim cami. Matching Jaipur Gems earrings and a braided updo rounded her look out.
