Airport Diaries: Kajol is back from Chennai after promoting VIP 2

Kajol was snapped at the Mumbai airport today.

Kajol is out-and-out promoting her upcoming Tamil movie Velaiilla Pattadhari 2 (VIP 2). The talented actor was in Chennai yesterday with the team of the film. Today, she is back in the city and got snapped at the Mumbai airport a while back.

Kajol was seen wearing a red midi dress with a grey jacket. She teamed up the look with a pair of block heels and red-white movie sunglasses. The actor was all busy talking on the phone as she exited from the airport.

Meanwhile, VIP 2 marks Kajol's return to the Tamil cinema after almost two decades as she was last seen in Rajiv Menon's Minsara Kanavu alongside Prabhudheva and Arvind Swamy. In VIP 2, she will be seen along with Dhanush, Amala Paul, Vivek, Saranya Ponvannan and Samuthirakani. The movie is a sequel to the 2014 Tamil film Velaiilla Pattadhari. The Hindi version of the movie is titled as VIP 2 Lalkar. She plays the role of a businesswoman in the film who has some grey shades.

Kajol's last Bollywood film was Rohit Shetty's Dilwale opposite Shah Rukh Khan in the year 2015. During an exclusive interview with PINKVILLA, when the actor was asked why isn't she signing any Bollywood film, she stated, "I know..But I feel I don't want to do films just for the sake of doing work. I want to do a good film if I have to work where I feel that it's worth the time and effort which I am taking away from my family to go ahead and do a film. And yes, I am doing a Bollywood film per say. It's my home production which hopefully I will be starting in September. I can't reveal much about it right now. I have also finished VIP 2 which is a lot of work for me. 2 films in 1 year? God, you're seeing too much of me these days. I already need a break."
