Pic Alert: Kajol and Dhanush shoot a music video for VIP 2
VIP 2 director Soundarya Rajnikanth shared a picture with Kajol and Dhanush.
Kajol is set to make her comeback in the Tamil industry after two decades in Velaiilla Pattadhari 2 aka VIP 2 opposite Dhanush. The movie is directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth and also stars Amala Paul, Samuthirakani and Saranya Ponvannan.
Soundarya took to Twitter to share a photo with Kajol and Dhanush from the sets of the movie where they recently shot for a music video. Kajol looks ethereal in a one-shoulder green dress with a big black belt tied around the waist while Dhanush looks handsome in a black shirt, black trousers and an army blazer.
Her caption reads, "#Vip2 #MusicVideo shoot with my #Vasundhara & #Raghuvaran .. @KajolAtUN mam you are too good to be true @dhanushkraja sir you rock!"
Earlier, Kajol had revealed to a leading tabloid, that it was Dhanush who convinced her to take up the role. She said, "It was all because of Dhanush and Soundarya Rajinikanth (director), who really made me feel comfortable. In fact, the convincing point was that 50 percent of my dialogues would be in English. So, I was stress-free."
On her character, Kajol said, "I have strict instructions from Soundarya not to reveal anything. All I can say is that it is very different from what you have seen of me on screen."
VIP 2 is slated to release on July 28, 2017.
In an interview with us recently, Kajol stated how a fan got overwhelmed by the fact that the stunning diva could speak English, let alone understand it. "I would tell you one of the weirdest things to have happened to me. This fan in London came up for something and I told him we'll do it later man, hearing which he got stunned and reacted, 'My god, you speak English.?' I was like 'YES! We speak English and NO, there are no Elephants roaming around Indian streets anymore and we can find snake charmers once in a while for you!", laughed Kajol.
