PICS: Sridevi promotes MOM with co-star Akshaye Khanna

Sridevi is busy with the promotions of her movie MOM. Today, the diva attended the TV reality show along with her co-star Akshaye Khanna, to promote the movie. Both Sri and Akshaye mingled with the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs and spread their charm on the show.

Sridevi had recently talked about Akshaye and how she never thought she would work with him. She had said, "I used to meet Akshaye on the sets of Chandni while working with Vinod Khanna, but I never imagined that I would ever work with him."

She added, "He is a focussed and dignified actor, and you come across only a very few actors like him. It was wonderful to work with him."

The movie is directed by Ravi Udyawar and produced by Boney Kapoor, Sunil Manchanda, Mukesh Talreja, Naresh Agarwal and Gautam Jain. It also stars Abhimanyu Singh, Sajal Ali and Adnan Siddiqui in lead roles, with Nawazuddin Siddiqui in a special appearance. The film is scheduled for release on 7 July.

Mom is Sridevi's 300th film and is being released in the 50th year of her film career.

Sridevi, who is a mom of two teenage girls herself, said she could related to the role due to her real life role as a mother.
