MOM Poster - Akshaye Khanna impresses as a fearless cop

Akshaye Khanna is all set to be seen in Sridevi starrer Mom. A new poster of the film was unveiled recently which had Khanna on it.

In the poster released, Akshaye is seen showing off his intense look as a fearless cop. He is sporting a leather jacket and a pair of aviators. 

Sridevi shared the poster on her Twitter page. She tweeted it by saying, "Don't believe what your eyes tell you. #AkshayeKhanna #LooksCanBeDeceptive @MOMTheMovie @ZeeStudios_"

When a leading daily asked about Akshaye's role, he stated, "It's a career milestone to work with the one and only Sridevi and Nawaz, who is one of the finest actors we have today. Being part of this film was an enriching experience."

Yesterday, another actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui's poster was released. His never-seen-before has impressed everyone. 

Talking about his character, Nawaz had earlier said, "We worked on the look for 15 days before we finalised it. The director Ravi Udyawar planned something different. Normally, the character is created first and then the look but for Mom, it was the other way round. We tried various looks with how my character would walk and talk and his mannerisms. We used prosthetics and the entire process would take almost three hours to put on and remove. Moreover, shooting in Mumbai and Delhi during the day, when it is incredibly hot."

Mom also marks the comeback of evergreen actress Sridevi after five years as she was last seen in English Vinglish. The film also stars Abhimanyu Singh and Pitobash Tripathy in pivotal roles. 

Produced by Boney Kapoor, the movie is all set to hit the theatres on July 7, 2017.
