Akshaye Khanna, Rahul Khanna and family members arrive for Vinod Khanna's funeral
Vinod Khanna's family members spotted outside the hospital in Mumbai.
Legendary actor Vinod Khanna breath his last this morning at a Mumbai hospital. The actor was admitted to Hurkisondas hospital earlier this month as he was suffering from severe dehydration. Khanna was also reportedly battling bladder cancer in his last days.
Recently a picture of the handsome actor from the hospital had gone viral taking everyone by shock. Khanna looked extremely pale in the picture and his physical transformation got everyone teary-eyed.
As B-Town celebs woke up to this shock, condolences started pouring in from all sides. The veteran actor was also a sitting Bharatiya Janata Party member of the Lok Sabha from the Gurdaspur constituency in Punjab. Given this, top politicians including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Pranab Mukherjee took to Twitter to pay their respect to the star.
Not only this, as a mark of respect to Vinodji, Baahubali 2's premiere in Mumbai was canceled. If reports to be believed, Megastar Amitabh Bachchan left an interview mid-way as soon as the news broke out.
While the nation continues to mourn this great loss, Vinod ji's family members have brought his body at his residence. Vinod Khanna's family members including his son Sakshi Khanna, Rahul Khanna and Akshaye Khanna were snapped arriving at the residence.
The actor is best remembered for his role in movies like Chandni, Amar Akbar Anthony, Muqaddar Ka Sikander, The Burning Train, Qurbaani, Mere Apne, Wanted, Dabangg, Dilwale among many others.
He is survived by three sons - Akshaye Khanna, Rahul Khanna, Sakshi Khanna and one daughter Shraddha Khanna.
