Celebs Attend Udta Punjab Success Bash
It woud be an understatement to say that Shahid Kapoor’s latest release Udta Punjab faced several hurdles before arriving in theatres last week. To begin with, it ran into trouble with the Central. Board of Film Certification(CBFC) and the makers were asked to makers as many as 89 cuts to the movie.
Moreover, they were also asked to drop the word ‘Punjab’ from the title. Thereafter, the Udta Pubjab team approached the Bombay High Court. Following these developments, it was cleared with just one cut.
Now, it seems that makers of Udta Punjab have a reason to rejoice. The Abhishek Chaubey-directed venture has found success at the ticket window. And to celebrate this accomplishment, a grand party was organized recently. As expected, it was attended by some popular names from the industry and well, they enjoyed themselves to the fullest.
