Pakistan vs Bangladesh, ICC World Cup 2019: Key players from both sides to watch out for

Bangladesh is officially out from the race of the semi-finals, and on the other hand, it looks nearly impossible for the Men in Green to register a spot in the top four as well. For Pakistan, they will not only have to defeat Bangladesh but register a win by 300 plus runs in order to reach the semi-finals. Bangladesh cricket team will look forward to end their World Cup journey on a positive note against the Men in Green today, at Lord’s. Let’s have a look at their key players.

1. Shakib Al Hasan (Bangladesh)- Despite the team’s poor performance in the tournament, it has been Shakib’s exceptional innings with the bat that has been a highlight in this on-going World Cup. Shakib is currently the second highest run scorer in this World Cup, only behind India’s Rohit Sharma who has smashed four centuries in the tournament. He has scored 542 runs and is only two runs behind Sharma and also managed to register two centuries.

2. Mohammad Amir (Pakistan)- Pakistan’s Mohammad Amir has been the most reliable bowler for the team and has managed to claim 16 wickets in the tournament so far. Even though Amir went wicket-less in the match against Afghanistan, he bowled with an economy of 4.10. He claimed five wickets against Australia and bowled with an exceptional economy of 3.00 in his 10-over spell.
