Jay Park wins the title of Artist of The Year at the 2021 Korean Hip Hop Awards
The only Korean Award ceremony that is exclusively for the Hip Hop and R&B category awarded Jay Park AOTY 2021.
Hosted by the popular Korean web magazines Hiphople and Hiphopplaya, Korean Hip Hop Awards (KHA) are hosted annually and aim to award artists who excel in the hip hop/R&B music category. Congratulations are pouring in as Jay Park was awarded the 'Artist of the Year 2021’ (AOTY) on the show!
Jay Park is acclaimed (and rightfully so) for wearing a lot of hats – that of an artist, a dancer, a producer, and a CEO. The 33-year-old Asian-American rapper not only won the AOTY award but his label, H1GHR Music has also won Label of The Year in the KHA2021! However, his achievements don’t stop at this! The Music Video of The Year Award went to ‘The Purge’ – a song by him, pH-1, BIG Naughty, and others, released under the same label!

This is the third time the rapper has received the title of Artist of The Year at the Korean Hip Hop Awards. Before this, he bagged the award twice in a row in 2017 & 2018.
The 33-year-old rapper also gave a heartfelt speech to fans. Talking about receiving the award for the third time, he said that this time felt more special than the first time as he has been able to maintain his position for the award.
Other than being the co-founder and CEO of H1GHR Music with Cha Cha Malone – an international record label that aims to bridge the gap between Korean and American artists, he is also the founder and CEO of his own label, AOMG, a South Korean hip-hop/R&B record label.
