Afghanistan is at the bottom of the points table, whereas Virat Kohli led Indian cricket team has won all the matches they’ve played in the tournament so far. After registering an easy win against the arch-rivals, Pakistan in Manchester, the Men in Blue will look forward to continue their domination in the tournament against the Afghans.

However, the Indian skipper, Virat Kohli whilst talking to Wasim Akhram mentioned that no game is going to be easy in the tournament. He said that its extremely difficult to gain momentum in a tournament like the World Cup and the team wants to win every game that they play. He also mentioned that as the team has long gaps between each game, it gives them the time to recover, regroup and get the motivation back. “No game is easy in this World Cup. We have to be professional and execute our plans well,” Virat added.

The Indian skipper also talked about the dressing room environment and the light atmosphere off the field. He said that the first decision that they made when they landed in England was to have fun as it’s going to be a long tournament and it’s important to enjoy every day. The skipper revealed that off field, the team finds time to crack jokes even in the practice sessions.

He further added that they are happy to see where they stand as a team. Even in the dressing room, the team can see each and every person fulfilling their roles to perfection.
