The Indian cricket team were all set to have an outdoor practice session, but due to slight drizzle, the team moved to indoor training session. The session was attended by skipper Virat Kohli, who has been in a tremendous form throughout the tournament. All-rounders, Vijay Shankar and Ravindra Jadeja along with fast-bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar joined the session at Old Trafford cricket ground.

In his entire duration of the indoor training, skipper Virat Kohli batted for more than an hour and had a chat with team’s head coach, Ravi Shastri. Virat Kohli was the highest run-scorer for the Men in Blue against the Afghans and smashed brilliant 67 runs off 63 deliveries. All rounder, Ravindra Jadeja also had a long batting session; Jadeja is yet to play a match in the tournament. Vijay Shankar was seen practicing along with batting coach, Sanjay Bangar.

However, the highlight of the session was the return of Bhuvneshwar Kumar who bowled a few deliveries after recovering from his hamstring injury. Bhuvneshwar was ruled out for a couple of matches in the tournament post his injury but is seen bowling a few deliveries in the nets ahead of the clash against Windies. Like India, the West Indian cricket team also had an indoor practice session on Tuesday, June 25.

India will take on the Windies tomorrow, i.e. June 27 at Old Trafford cricket ground.
