WWE SmackDown Live Results: Not Becky Lynch, Carmella saves Charlotte Flair from Sasha Banks & Bayley's ambush
Charlotte Flair and Sasha Banks' in-ring chemistry was on fire when they went toe-to-toe on this week's SmackDown Live. However, Bayley interfered during the match and ambushed The Queen. The save, however, was not made by Becky Lynch but Bayley's good friend Carmella! Watch the video below.
It surely has been an eventful few days for the Four Horsewomen of WWE - Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks and Bayley. The foursome has been crossing paths since The Boss' surprise return back as a heel. What was even more shocking was Bayley's heel turn, which forced Becky and Charlotte, who have a frenemy equation now, to set aside their differences and play nice. At Clash of Champions, due to a double disqualification, Becky was able to retain the Raw Women's Championship. On the other hand, Bayley retained the SmackDown Women's Championship from Charlotte, by cheating her way out.
This week's Monday Night Raw saw Becky and Charlotte getting some sweet revenge on Sasha and Bayley. In today's episode of SmackDown Live, The Queen went against The Boss, revisiting their already iconic rivalry. Their chemistry was palpable throughout the match, with The Hugger trying to help her best friend out. Eventually, Charlotte hit her signature moonsault off the top rope, crashing Banks and Bayley at ringside. When a Figure Four was locked and loaded, Bayley caused a disqualification. The two heels proceeded to beat down Flair, as they had done with The Man on WWE Raw.
While one would assume Becky would return the favour of Charlotte helping her out on Raw, instead, it was Bayley's good friend Carmella who came in for the save. Banks was knocked out with a superkick by The Princess of Staten Island while a confused Bayley was met with Charlotte's painful boot!
