One of CM Punk's greatest rivalries in WWE was with John Cena.

It's been several years since CM Punk kissed goodbye to WWE in extremely bad terms, which included a legal battle with the company as well. But, when he was with the company, one of his iconic rivalries was with John Cena. After becoming the leader of Nexus and feuding with John, a frustrated Punk took the mic and went off the script to give what would be, one of his many pipebombs that would rock the core of WWE forever. It was deemed as the Summer of Punk as the wrestler traded blows and matches with Mr. Hustle Loyalty and Respect while giving us five-star bouts!

It's been several years since then and there has been no inclination from Phil Brooks about a possible return to the company. But, what would the Chicago born and bred do if he ever ran into John, say in the streets of his hometown? The question was posed by a fan to Punk when he did a Reddit AMA session to promote his debut Hollywood movie, Girl on the Third Floor. The fan asked, "How will you react if you run into John Cena tomorrow?," to which Punk honestly revealed, "Probably wouldn't even see him, to be honest."

This seems like an obvious pun to Cena's trademark catchphrase - You can't see me! - but with CM Punk, there could be another meaning to it as well! But, you be the judge!

During a recent appearance at Starrcast III, Punk was asked what it was like to work with John, while still employed in WWE, to which he revealed, "I always liked working with John because again, it was easy. I think John was in a position where he was almost kind of glad somebody else came in and forcibly like took the reins."
