Twilight star Kristen Stewart REACTS to ex Robert Pattinson playing Batman: I'm very, very happy
Robert Pattinson has been tapped to play the role of Batman in the upcoming movie on the superhero. His Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart shared her reaction to the casting.
They might not be dating but Twilight star Kristen Stewart is all praise for Robert Pattinson for bagging the role of Batman. It has been a couple of months since Warner Bros announced that Pattinson has been roped in to fill Ben Affleck's shoes in the Matt Reeves directorial. The new casting came after Affleck chose to step down as the Cape Crusader. While Pattinson received backlash online, Kristen feels that he is the perfect Batman.
Promoting her upcoming movie Seberg at the ongoing Toronto International Film Festival aka TIFF, the actress shared her thoughts about her ex-beau playing the Batman. Speaking to Variety, she said that "it's awesome" that Pattinson will be slipping into the Batsuit in the next Batman movie. She also added that Pattinson has the "perfect cheek bones" for Bruce Wayne.
"I feel like he's the only guy that could play that part. I'm so happy for him. It's crazy. I'm very, very happy about that. I heard that and I was like, 'Oh man!' It's awesome," she said.
After the casting of the new Batman was announced, fans wanted to see Kristen join the cast of the movie as the Catwoman. Several fan tweets demanded Kristen given a chance in the movie and let a Twilight reunion take place.
Turns out, Kristen is game for it as well. Asked if she would be interested in joining the cast provided she gets a chance, Kristen said she wouldn't turn it down. "I'm down.
