Spider Man: Far From Home: Tom Holland, Jake Gyllenhaal loved THIS MCU film most & it's not Avengers: Endgame
Spider-Man: Far From Home stars Tom Holland and Jake Gyllenhaal pick their favourite Marvel Cinematic Universe movie and it is bound to bring a smile on Chris Hemsworth's face.
Marvel Studios have rolled out 22 movies over the past decade. They introduced Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, Black Panther, Wanda, Ultron and so many other Marvel Comics characters. These superheroes were introduced in different movies. Given an array of movies, Marvel Cinematic Universe fans have different picks when asked about their favourite movies. However, Spider-Man: Far From Home Tom Holland and Jake Gyllenhaal have the same favourite MCU movie. The duo, who will be sharing the screen space in the Marvel movie releasing next month, was recently asked about their favourite Marvel movie.
Although we were expecting an answer like Avengers: Endgame, the duo left our hearts warming with their choice of movie. No, no, they did not pick a Spider-Man movie. Instead, they picked a Thor movie. Pretty sure Chris Hemsworth would want to hug Holland and Gyllenhaal. The Spider-Man stars revealed that Thor: Ragnarok is their favourite movie. “I like Thor: Ragnarok,” Holland revealed when The Independent quizzed about his favorite movie. “I was just about to say that," Gyllenhaal added.
Thor: Ragnarok was one of the most critically acclaimed Thor movies in the MCU. The Taika Waititi directorial revamped the God of Thunder in the movie. Ragnarok, released in 2017, also featured an unimaginable crossover featuring Thor, Loki and Hulk. Mark Ruffalo's MCU superhero was also seen in a never-before-seen avatar. The trio was joined by Tessa Thompson's Valkyrie. The movie holds a stunning 93 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
As for Spider-Man: Far From Home, the initial reactions are in. The word on social media has been good. Spider-Man: Far From Home is the first MCU movie following the events of Avengers: Endgame. It releases on July 5.
