Next weekend, MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) fans will have to gear up and flock the theatre screens yet again because Avengers: Endgame is re-releasing with bonus footage. We will have to relive the events of Endgame, which brought about a climatic ending to a decade-long journey while making way for Phase 4. It was the perfect swan song of sorts for the OG6 Avengers (Robert Downey Jr as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America, Mark Ruffalo as Hulk, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye).

It's been revealed that the bonus footage will be six minutes in length. This was disclosed by the official website for the theatre chain Cinemark, which has started selling tickets for Avengers: Endgame's re-release. While the original cut was 182 minutes long, the re-release of Avengers: Endgame will be 188 minutes long. Earlier, Kevin had confirmed the reports of an Avengers: Endgame re-release and in regards to what the bonus footage will contain, the Marvel Studios' President revealed a little to ScreenRant.

"Not an extended cut, but there will be a version going into theaters with a bit of a marketing push with a few new things at the end of the movie. If you stay and watch the movie, after the credits, there’ll be a deleted scene, a little tribute, and a few surprises. Which will be next weekend," Feige confessed.

Meanwhile, Avengers: Endgame is less than $50 million away from dethroning James Cameron's Avatar's (2009) lifetime box-office collection of $2.788 billion. We will have to wait and watch to see if the re-release of Avengers: Endgame allows the film to cross the threshold and become the most successful movie of all time.
