Tom Holland has been a busy guy with the promotions of his film, Spider-Man: Far From Home. The Jon Watts directorial looks into the aftermath of Avengers: Endgame and how Peter Parker is trying his best to move on from the loss of his mentor, Tony Stark. However, when he goes on a school trip to Europe, Peter is enlisted by Nick Fury to aide Mysterio in defeating The Elementals. Mysterio marks Jake Gyllenhaal's entry into the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe).

For the longest time, diversity in superhero movies has been the talk of the town with many MCU celebs even being asked about the representation of the LGBTQ community. Recently, the Sunday Times quizzed Tom Holland if he believes the world is ready for a superhero who identifies as LGBTQ. Tom stated that yes, he does believe the world is ready for it. The actor can't comment on the future of the character because he doesn't know about it and it's not in his hands. However, Holland did share that he knows a lot about the future of Marvel and that, "they are going to be representing lots of different people in the next few years."
