Simon Cowell thinks THIS is when One Direction will reunite; says the band could sell out a gig in 20 seconds
Simon Cowell, who is responsible for the creation of One Direction, revealed in an interview as to when he thinks the band will reunite. Read below to know more about what Simon had to say on the same.
Back in 2010, in an episode of The X Factor UK, five individuals - Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Zayn Malik - were put together into a band called One Direction, by music mogul Simon Cowell. For five years, the boyband created a major hysteria with five chart-topping albums. While Zayn Malik left before the making of the fifth album, the rest of the members went on an indefinite hiatus with the release of Made in the A.M.
Given that the five singers are currently enjoying solo success in their respective careers, one wonders when a reunion will take place. While the members have tackled the "reunion" question on various occasions, there hasn't been a definitive answer on the when. Well, Simon has a theory of when the reunion could happen. While talking on the radio show Heart, Cowell revealed, "My gut feeling is yes. I mean, they're all doing great solo wise, at the moment, but they had a lot of hits. So, they could do tour, after tour, after tour. You know you could sell out a One Direction gig, or a stadium tour, in about 20 seconds."
"I would say within five years. That's only a guess. Not that I know. It's only a guess," the 60-year-old entrepreneur added.

Meanwhile, when Harry was asked about a possible 1D reunion, the singer revealed to Rolling Stones, "I don’t think I’d ever say I’d never do it again, because I don’t feel that way. If there’s a time when we all really want to do it, that’s the only time for us to do it."
