Sony is the house behind several franchises and movies like Spider-Man, Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Zombieland 2: Double Tap, Charlie’s Angels, The Grudge, the comic-book adaptation of Bloodshot featuring Vin Diesel and Marvel’s Morbius. Given that the production house will not be making its way to SDCC, fans will have to wait for other opportunities over the year to find out more about these releases.

Explaining the reason behind Sony skipping SDCC, the international publication report that the studio's promo teams have their hands full. Hence, they have decided against appearing in the convention. Regardless, Sony is making up for the absence.
