San Diego Comic Con 2019: Avengers: Endgame directors Russo Brothers are heading to SDCC's Hall H; Here's WHY
San Diego Comic-Con 2019 takes place from July 18 to July 21. The SDCC is hosting the Avengers: Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Russo in Hall H this year.
San Diego Comic-Con 2019 is less than a month away. The convention organisers are spilling the beans on their plans for this year's SDCC. We already have some idea about DC's TV universe's plans. We are also aware that Game of Thrones will make its way to the convention. We now hear that Avengers: Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Joe are headed to the annual Comic-Con for a special something. It has been revealed that the Marvel Cinematic Universe directors will take a seat on the stage in the iconic Hall H.
The directors recently were in the spotlight for Avengers: Endgame's remarkable performance. The movie is currently the second highest grossing movie of all-time. The Marvel Cinematic Universe movie is re-releasing this weekend with new unseen footage hoping to dethrone Avatar to become the highest grossing movie. Now, Collider reports that the acclaimed filmmakers will make their way to SDCC for a panel. The report has confirmed that they will be seated in the hall for a panel discussion. The international publication confirms that the panel will take place on Friday, July 19. The panel is slated to begin at 11 am.
Here's what to expect:
Given the recent success of Avengers: Endgame, the filmmakers could give a breakdown of the MCU and share interesting insights that could blow up the internet. We also expect the duo to discuss the future of Marvel Cinematic Universe, give an idea of how MCU Phase 4 could look like and their individual projects outside the MCU. For the unversed, the Russo Brothers are working with Thor: Ragnarok actor Chris Hemsworth on a project titled Dhaka. The crew was in India a few months ago to film for the same.
The official description of the panel reads: “For the Russo Brothers, Avengers: Endgame was the culmination of an unprecedented four-film, seven-year journey through the Marvel Cinematic Universe that has included some of the most iconic experiences in modern cinema. Come hear directors Joe and Anthony Russo reflect on Endgame and their epic road to it as they segue into life beyond Marvel with their new company, AGBO, which happens to include an exciting array of new and old creative friends. This new independent studio develops and finances filmed projects in any medium, while keeping creative control within the hands of artists. This discussion will be moderated by Collider’s Editor-in-Chief Steven Weintraub.”
