The man, who replaced Bryan Singer, despite having a huge pressure on his back, delivered a picture to remember in the name of Bohemian Rhapsody. But, that wasn’t enough for him as he took over Elton John and stunned everyone with Rocketman. The man that we are talking about is none other than Dexter Fletcher, who loves picking up projects with immense pressure and expectations. Now, he is all set to direct a film based on Dracula’s Renfield with Universal.

The monster film is going to bring the character R.M Renfield in to focus but not the one we saw in classic films already as this take is going to be a modern one and will be more like Leigh Whannell’s recent film Invisible Man. Rick and Monty writer Ryan Ridley is also going to be a part of this project and will be writing the script of this evil film. It is going to be a completely different experience for Dexter Fletcher as we all know he is a guy obsessed with these sort of challenges.

The character of Renfield is a creepy one as he’s a patient of a lunatic hospital because he used to eat living creatures in the hope that their life-force get into his body. A disturbed and strange character is what Dexter Fletcher is bringing to us. The expectations are high because Fletcher has impressed everyone with his work in Rocketman and Bohemia Rhapsody. Although, we know that it is going to be tough for him but Universal has full faith in him.
