Robert Pattinson starrer Batman to be filmed in the same location as Batman v Superman and Justice League?

There were a lot of rumours on who would replace Ben Affleck as the next Batman! Many Hollywood names popped up but many were left shocked beyond belief when it was announced that it would be Twilight (2008) star Robert Pattinson who would be playing the cape crusader in Matt Reeves' directorial. The other cast members have not been announced as of yet but according to a report in The Hollywood Reporter, the shooting will begin by November. Now, we know where the location will be as well!

According to a report in HN Entertainment, the shoot of Batman will take place in the United Kingdom. More specifically, Warner Bros. Studios, Leavesden. It was where the Harry Potter films, as well as the Fantastic Beasts movies, were shot. When it comes to the DCEU, in paticular, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016), Justice League (2017) and Wonder Woman (2017) were all shot there. It's also the place where Wonder Woman 1984 was primarily shot. Thanks to delays in the shooting of The Flash and Fantastic Beasts 3, it's allowed Batman to be shot in England.

Meanwhile, in an interview with Variety, Robert spoke candidly about the first time he put on the iconic Batsuit. "It’s maybe the craziest thing I’ve ever done in terms of movie stuff. I put it on. I remember saying to Matt, ‘It does feel quite transformative!’ He was like, ‘I would hope it does! You’re literally in the Batsuit.’ You do feel very powerful immediately," Pattinson shared.

Batman is slated to release on June 25, 2021.
