Robert Pattinson REVEALS having Kristen Stewart by his side during Twilight days helped him in handling fame
Robert Pattinson was recently asked if having Kristen Stewart by his side helped him in dealing with fame and being isolated by the overnight stardom. Read below to know what The Lighthouse star had to say on the same.
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's love story was the talk of the town during their Twilight days! The pair, along with Taylor Lautner became overnight stars and were submerged by superstardom thanks to the Twilight fanbase. While being famous had its perks, there were downfalls as well. Especially, for Robert and Kristen, who were dating in private from 2009 to 2013. After the infamous cheating scandal and the last Twilight film, Breaking Dawn – Part 2 (2012), the couple called it quits.
Years later, Pattinson and Stewart are on amicable terms and when asked about the other, the two have always maintained a cordial stance. Recently, when Margaret Gardiner asked Robert if having Kristen by his side during the Twilight days helped him deal with the isolation of fame, the 33-year-old actor revealed, "Yeah, I'm sure. If you're experiencing the exact same thing with someone... if you can see anyone, how they deal with something, it always helps. You can see another example. If you feel like you're completely alone, it always makes things a lot more difficult."
Furthermore, when quizzed if he was okay with fame now, The Batman star confessed that he doesn't really think about it. However, there was a moment when he was 25 or 26 and Twilight had just ended when he got shaky because he had no future plans in motion. It was also his first time-off in years.
"There were people waiting outside my house constantly. I was like 'Oh God! Is this what it's going to be like?' And then, after a while, it just fades. You then think, none of this stuff really lasts forever. As soon as you know it's not gonna be constant all the time and there are ways to deal with it then you relax completely," Robert added.
