Robert Downey Jr's Instagram account HACKED? Bizarre posts shared on his social media handle
Robert Downey Jr's Instagram account has showed some unusual activity. The Avengers: Endgame actor's account was offering gadgets and more.
Something's fishy about Robert Downey Jr's Instagram account. The Iron Man actor is more-or-less active on the social media platform. Over the past few months, his Instagram has been flooded with posts about Avengers: Endgame. From posters, fans art to pictures with the cast, the Marvel movie has been ruling his social media handle. However, today, his Instagram account posted a bizarre post that has left us wondering what has happened. A new post was shared a while ago announcing that the actor is giving away gadgets to fans.
If that wasn't alarming enough, the hacker began redirecting fans to a website through RDJ's Instagram Stories. Cars, gadgets and more, the account began offering several giveaways. It was then it was safe to assume that Downey Jr's account was hacked. However, before things got out of control, the social media team handling the actor's account managed to pull the stories and post down.
It is still not clear who hacked into the actor's account. Check out the screenshot of the post shared by hackers below:
Robert Downey Jr recently kissed Iron Man and the MCU goodbye with Avengers: Endgame. The actor felt it was the right time to get off the bus. "We had to get off. We opted to, and knew it was part of the job to get off the bus while it rolled on to other destinations," he told D23 Magazine, Comicbook.com reported. "There’s something very sobering about it. I’m glad he (Chris Evans) and I will be there to welcome others as they retire their jerseys," he added.
As for the future, Robert Downey Jr will be seen in two movies. The actor returns to Sherlock Holmes for Sherlock Homes 3. He will then take over as the new Doctor Dolittle. Stay tuned to Pinkvilla for more updates.
