Remember High School Musical? Here's what stars Vanessa Hudgens & preggers Ashley Tisdale are up to

Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens had a High School Musical reunion! The teenager inside us jumping with joy to see the two stars reunite but what made it even more special was a pregnant Ashley Tisdale smiling away under her mask. The High School Musical franchise was a massive blockbuster when it released in 2006 and the success of the original one led to two sequels and several spin-off films.  

While the film's stars like Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens and Corbin Bleu among others have gone on to have different and illustrious career paths, Ashley and Vanessa's reunion was a heartwarming throwback for fans. Taking to Instagram, Ashley revealed that she was her HSM co-star Vanessa after nine long months, but it wasn't too late as she managed to meet her before her baby could arrive.  

Sharing their reunion photo, Ashley captioned it, "It’s taken 9 months but safely we got a picture before my girl left again. Love you @vanessahudgens." The co-stars and besties were seen beaming with smiles under their masks as Vanessa held on to Ashley's baby bump.

Yes, Ashley Tisdale, who played the Mean Girl equivalent in HSM as Sharpay, is expecting her first child with husband and musician Christopher French. She has been documenting her pregnancy journey on the gram and even had a baby gender reveal celebration recently. Feeling old, right?  

Ashley and Vanessa's photo was much loved by their fans. One fan commented, "saw this and hsm songs just played in my head love youuuu Gabriela and Sharpay (sic)." While another one wrote, "it makes me so happy that you guys are still in touch and close after all these years omg adorable (sic)." 

Well, we too love this friendship!
