Priyanka Chopra replies aptly when reporter questions if she & Nick Jonas are qualified to announce Oscar noms
Priyanka Chopra gave the Australian reporter a fact check on how she and Nick Jonas are more than qualified to announce the Oscars 2021 nominations.
Priyanka Chopra ain't taking being dissed lightly, period! An Australian reporter learned the hard way why it's never good to mess with our desi girl, especially without doing a fact check first. Peter Ford, whose Twitter bio claims, "The best & most widely heard entertainment reporter in Australia & NZ," recently questioned Chopra and Jonas' qualifications for announcing the Oscars 2021 nominations.
In a tweet, now deleted, Peter wrote, "No disrespect to these two but I'm not sure their contribution to the movies qualifies them to be announcing Oscar nominees." Replying staunchly to Ford, PeeCee tweeted, "Would love your thoughts on what qualifies someone. Here are my 60+ film credentials for your adept consideration @mrpford." And that's not all! Chopra even shared a video recording which scrolled through her IMDB credits. (P.S. 78 acting credits, to be exact!) Amongst the many movies and a tv show, she's starred in, Priyanka's Hollywood projects like We Can Be Heroes, Isn't It Romantic, A Kid Like Jake, Baywatch and Quantico can be seen in her illustrious IMDB credits. Also included are her future projects like Text For You, Matrix 4 and Citadel. As you scroll further, there's also all the Bollywood movies she's been a part of for almost two decades.
As for Nick, with 79 acting credits on IMDB, in the recent few years, we've seen the fellow Jonas Brother star in Chaos Walking, the Jumanji franchise, Midway and Kingdom.

Meanwhile, Priyanka made history as the first Indian in the Academy Awards' 93-year history, to announce the Oscar nominations. Moreover, PeeCee was praised for her correct pronunciation of the nominees' names, especially after Bill Burr came under fire when he mispronounced Natalia Lafourcade's name at the Grammys 2021 while announcing her as the winner in the Best Regional Mexican Music Album (including Tejano) category for Un Canto Por México, Vol. 1.
