The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are expecting their first child in April. The Duke and Duchess have not revealed the exact due date of the baby officially. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle recently split the royal household from Kate Middleton and Prince William due to the separate role of duties of Prince Harry and Prince William. Now, there may be chances that the Duke of Cambridge may miss the birth of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's baby.
As announced by the Kensington Palace, Prince William will visit New Zealand in late April to honour the victims of the Christchurch shootings that took place earlier this month. As requested by New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, Prince William will visit the country on behalf of the Queen. Though the exact dates of his trip have not been finalized yet, but it may clash with the birth of his niece or nephew in the same month. Kate Middleton, Prince William, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had condemned the attack in a joined statement when it happened. They said, "No person should ever have to fear attending a sacred place of worship". According to a Kensington Palace press release, "Prince William will meet with those affected by the attack and will pay tribute to the extraordinary compassion and solidarity that the people of New Zealand have displayed in recent weeks".

On 15th March, 2019, two consecutive attacks were carried on mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand. 50 people were killed in the attacks, while 50 others were injured. The attacks were an outcome of far-right extremism, racism and Islamophobia. The gunman even live-streamed the first attack on Facebook Live.
