Gayle King of CBS This Morning and Oprah as well as Meghan's friend, revealed that conversations have started between Prince Harry, Prince William and Prince Charles.
Looks like the ice is finally melting! It has been more than a week since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's interview with Oprah aired and it seems to have made an effect in the UK. Turns out, Prince Harry has now started a conversation with his older brother Prince William for the first time since the interview aired. For the unversed, Harry had described his relationship with William as "space".
The Duke of Sussex had also revealed that his father Prince Charles had stopped taking his calls after he and Meghan announced their decision to step back as senior working members of the royal family. Now, according to a latest report, Gayle King of CBS This Morning and Oprah as well as Meghan's friend, revealed that conversations have started between Harry, William and Charles.
Speaking on CBS This Morning, Gayle said, "Well, I'm not trying to break news, but I did actually call them to see how they were feeling, and it's true, Harry has talked to his brother and he has talked to his father too." However, she added that these talks have not really been "productive".
She added, "The word I was given was that those conversations were not productive. But they are glad that they have at least started a conversation."
During Oprah's interview, Harry had revealed that he was financially cut off in the first quarter of 2020 after he and Meghan announced their decision to step back. He also added that he was stripped off security since there was a change in titles.
