Nick Jonas wants to play THIS legendary musician in a biopic and we are all for it
Nick Jonas recently revealed that one of his biggest dreams is to star in a Bruce Springsteen biopic and honour his musical legacy.
Nick Jonas recently released his all-new album Spaceman and it has been on a chart-topping journey ever since its release. The singer has also been busy with promotional interactions for the same and recently appeared on Zane Lowe's Apple Music podcast. The 28-year-old singer spoke about the inspiration behind his new album and also revealed some interesting bits such his dream role for a biopic and more. Jonas, who hails from New Jersey revealed how legendary American artist Bruce Springsteen, who is also an NJ-bred artist has always been a big inspiration for him.
Being a fan of the Boss aka Springsteen, Nick confessed that he would jump at the chance of playing him if ever a biopic is made. The Spaceman singer stated that he would love to portray Springsteen in a movie so as to honour him, via Billboard. Speaking at length about Bruce's legacy and what made him legendary, Jonas told Zane Lowe on his Apple Music podcast, "He's [Springsteen] been a champion for his fans his entire career, and you see it at the shows. It's about them. Every moment's about them, them having the best experience, best night of their week, their life, their year, whatever."
Hearing Jonas talk so lovingly about his music idol, we can certainly see how he could make for a great casting if a biopic on Springsteen is made. Nick's musical journey has been exciting ever since his Jonas Brothers days. From being a Disney star to a solo artist to now back being with his brothers Joe and Kevin Jonas as a band, the singer has done it all. As for his acting credits, we don't need to remind you of how good he has been in Jumanji. With all these talents at his disposal, the singer could definitely bag a biopic.
On the music front, Nick recently also dropped a surprise deluxe version of his Spaceman album which not only featured remix versions of some of his original album songs but also a surprise track along with his Kevin and Joe Jonas. Titled Selfish, the song has gotten all the Jonas Brothers fans hooked to it. Let's hope we hear more new songs from the band soon and as for Nick's fans, we bet you're already taking over social media asking for a Bruce Springsteen biopic starring him!
